I am a technician for a UK college Media department and I have been told that as part of the production work for next year the students have to set up their own blog site. How difficult could that be? After all it's just a diary with photos and video clips. So here I am giving it a go with regular updates that I find to be funny, strange or even informative and maybe the odd rant. How hard can that be? Let's find out.

The things I hear
I use public transport a lot and I work in study areas so I quite often overhear some quite bizzare conversation. I would like to share them with you and hopefully hear from some of yours.
Lets start with a few.
Two first year students discussing pet dogs;
Student 1: My dog is white all over.
Student 2: Is it an albino?
Student 1: No. It's an Alsatian
School kid on a bus;
Did you see that programme on kick boxing on Sky last night? It's better than anything you see on the telly.
Another school kid on a bus;
I hate Tuesdays, I have to get up all day.
Female member of staff when I entered a room carrying a camera;
I hate it when you show up with that thing, when you point it at me I go like a rabbit.
(I think she meant a rabbit in headlights, but you never know).
Well, when they found the Titanic that proved to be faulty.
